Founder/Chief Executive Officer

Hello, my name is Emmeline Lopez, and I am a Foster/Adoptive parent. I have cared for and nurtured over 20 + foster children since 2015. Personal struggles with infertility combined with love for children led me on this amazing; journey to serve my community as a foster parent. Over the last couple of years, my husband and I have adopted two beautiful boys, who were foster children.  I am employed with a well-known Financial Institution, whom I have been with for over 16 years and my current role is an AVP Senior Operations  Manager.  I have had many experiences in and have a deep passion for educating and developing young and mature adults.

I want to continue to extend my efforts, and decided to start a non-profit organization to help foster/adoptive/homeless youths in Georgia. The Heartbeat Foundation, Inc. was established in 2020. Our vision is to provide the necessary tools, resources, and opportunities to our youth, the next generation of strong and healthy leaders.
